About the Course

Making healthy changes can be HARD. Not only are there so many conflicting ideas about what "healthy" actually means, but making lasting changes seems impossible!

If you feel like this, you are not alone, and it's certainly not your fault!

There are psychological drivers behind our behaviour which impact our ability to make and sustain changes. Understanding these drivers and the impact they have on our daily lives allows us to take back control of our behaviour and direct it to the activities and changes we are passionate about.

In this course, we break down how our brain works, the habit cycle and those subconscious factors that drive our behaviour (even when we are trying to change direction), and combine this with scientifically-backed, no-bull advice about what elements of your life are going to lead to improvements in your health.

The what and the how, combined to get you the results you want.

This version of the course includes one-on-one support with one of our skilled dietitians, to help you get the biggest bang for your buck and provide personalised guidance. Do you feel like you could you more support as you make these lifestyle changes? We're here for you. Choose this option to work with our dietitians as you transition.

Charlotte Rowley and James Norton

-James-
James is extremely driven when it comes to helping others build healthy habits and squeezing the most out of life. This lead him to complete his Honours in Psychology at Murdoch University, where he now works as an academic tutor and researcher. When he does slice out some free time, you can find James working on working on his new home - a converted van!

-Charlotte-
Charlotte is dedicated to helping people improve their lives through making healthy changes that are important the individual. Prior to her Masters degree, Charlotte completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and Bachelor of Molecular Biology. This is what inspired her love for health and she went on to complete her Certificate III and IV in Fitness, however, she decided she loved food more, and pursued the nutrition side of health. Working collaboratively with clients is her first priority so that clients achieve their goals without feeling they are just being told what to do. Based on this philosophy, and the idea that everyone deserves high quality nutrition care, Charlotte founded Habits for Health. In her spare time, Charlotte enjoys yoga and craft. She can often be found under a pile of scrap fabric or covered in pottery clay.
